The Consulting Group at VIAS provides comprehensive solutions for a variety of industries. The team has decades of combined experience of decades in analysis and design and has successfully designed products for strength, stability, stiffness and fatigue endurance. Our design and analysis is achieved through the use of advanced engineering analysis techniques such as Finite Element Analysis(FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other physics based solutions. The team has access to ABAQUS and other cutting edge FE analysis and CFD software tools. The use of these advanced techniques has enabled us to capture complex design features and nonlinearities arising out of the use of materials, geometry and surface interaction.


The Consultancy Group is also involved in the development of specialized design toolkits catering to the design and analysis requirements of specific products. Some of these requirements include automation for parametric analysis and post processing of design variables for concept designs.


Additionally, the team has resolved problems pertaining to structural reliability, optimization and fitness for service assessment of existing designs. The robustness and accuracy of the methodologies adopted by our consultancy group are verified by benchmarking with test data from actual tests or literature.
